SELECTION CRITERIA - Please describe the nominee's ethical activities, addressing one or more of the criteria cited below for each award.
CRITERIA FOR ALL THREE AWARDS:
1- Colorado centered effort (unique programs delivered in Colorado)
2- Program impact relative to available resources
3- Innovative and creative approaches (internal to the organization or focused on external community)
4- Vision, courage and conviction (risks taken to maintain ethical values)
5- Treatment of others (customers, clients, employees, volunteers, peers, etc.)

BUSINESS ETHICS AWARD - Businesses with well defined programs or efforts directed toward an important and needed social requirement and/or demonstrating a singular awareness and highly effective implementation of a socially responsible approach to their business which goes beyond the expected or required. In addition to criteria 1-5 above, this award addresses these additional criteria:
6- Organizational integrity including product development and manufacturing, human resource management, sourcing, marketing, etc. 
7- Effective, innovative partnering with other businesses, non-profits and governmental entities
8- Extent program is integrated into the firm's culture
9- Extent the activity goes beyond that required by law and/or industry standards
SAMARITAN INSTITUTE AWARD - Non-profits should be considered based on a holistic evaluation of their effectiveness in carrying out their stated mission and their ability to contribute to a healthy business and community environment. In addition to criteria 1-5 above, this award addresses these additional criteria: 
6- Effective delivery of products and services
7- Effective, innovative partnering with other non-profits, businesses and governmental entities
8- Governance (board selection and financial management).
9- Fund-raising integrity

DANIEL L. RITCHIE AWARD - Individuals of high moral character and ethical practices as exemplified in their professional business career. Please provide at least three references. In addition to criteria 1-5 above, this award addresses these additional criteria:

7- Programs championed
8- Extent of influence
9- Extent of resources marshaled
